Very often, it doesn’t come from us, but from our surroundings.
I will share how you can identify your self-soothing rituals and use them.
Often when we feel overwhelmed, it’s not because of us, but because of our environment. Our capacity to feel overwhelmed is related to our ability to regulate our emotions and hold ourselves together, and that capacity originates in our childhood.
This is inner child work. I love it; it changes how you stand in the world. However, I will not go that deep into it in this exercise; it’s deep and intense work, but if you would like to explore it further at some point, I suggest starting with ToBeMagnetic or consulting your therapist. My preferred therapy is hypnotherapy.
