"If you want to learn what someone fears losing, watch what they photograph."
After 7 years in corporate sustainability, I decided to chase a childhood dream of adventure and purpose.
With all of my belongings in a storage space, I packed my electric car, my dog and we drove across China to meet with the young Chinese changemakers who influence changes within their local communities.
This is where my heart truly lies:
On the road, meeting people, listening to their stories and capture purpose and passion right there on the field.
It was time to step into my innate creativity, and pursue that dream.
Today I consider myself a photographer - documentarist - writer - environmentalist.
With some serious baggage ...
In China, I am considered an expert in sustainability, environmental awareness, and the Circular Economy. Together with my former team, I ran over 150 workshops and seminars in China alone, spoke at Tedx, and appeared in over 15 media channels in the world, including but not limited to The New York Times, Elle China, CGTN, China Daily, Time Out and many more.
My work experience includes consulting & advising for Fortune 500 companies in Tech, Apparel, Sportswear, Automotive and Luxury industries. I am currently writing a book on my experience in China which harmonizes the knowledge I accrued over the years and my trip in the summer of 2021 with the young Chinese Changemakers: Kailu, The Open Road.
